Mad Catz Interactive and THQ have joined forces to produce and market a range of branded Arcade FightStick and FightPad accessories based on the WWE All Stars for the major consoles, including the Nintendo Wii. Here’s Darren Richardson, President and CEO of Mad Catz, talking about the new peripherals:

WWE All Stars is the revolutionary new addition to THQ’s distinguished WWE video game franchise, and the debut release from the company’s San Diego-based studio. WWE All Stars aims to appeal to WWE enthusiasts and casual followers alike with a fun, fresh and fast-paced experience in the virtual ring, boasting one of the greatest rosters ever assembled in a wrestling game. *In the games, WWE Legends will align with today’s most prominent WWE Superstars, inviting players to generate fantasy matches and ultimately determine the greatest competitors of all time.

WWE All Stars is currently in development for all major consoles, including the Wii, with a scheduled release timeframe of early 2011.
