O-Games has today announced Marines: Modern Urban Combat exclusively for the Nintendo Wii. The game is a squad-based military shooter, in which the player gets to take on the role of a US Marine, using their real-life tactics to lead a squad that’s hunting down ruthless terrorists in the deadly war-torn streets of Beirut, Lebanon, circa 2006, issuing commands using the intuitive Wii Remote controls. The tactics and tools used in the game are all taken directly from the real Marine Corps, adding to the compellingly authentic and realistic feel.

The game also includes a co-operative multiplayer mode where a second player can join in as the rifleman and help player one in completing missions.
