Hi, the Wii U apparently has a slow CPU. To save energy it only consumes 35W, but this thing can hurt the performance of high damanding games as some developers say. Well, Nintendo again can fix this as they did with the DS, (do you remember when they released a firmware that increases the cpu frecuency by 25%) this time they can do the same for the Wii U at the cost to increase the consuming energy from 35W to almost 70W overall. Even better they can use the smart-overclock feature, this feature increases progressively the CPU frecuency as the performance demand increases during the game.

Also, don't forget to ask IBM Power PC designers if this feature can be improved in the future...

Thanks!!

From what I've heard the Wii U's ventilation is pretty damn good (which on another note, debunks all those overheating issues that could'a still existed), so I'd imagine it'd be able t' handle overclocking and such. Most certainly should be done.

Never heard 'bout this 3DS update though. Links?

Updates wont make the console better for games, it will just make it slightly less arse
