hey does anyone know when the new channel features take place i updated my system with the new channel and i don't see any of the new features that nintendo said it would have.

You cannot just simply perform a system update. You must go to the WiiShop channel and download the newer version in the WiiWare section for free.

If I misread your post and you've already done this, then I'm not quite sure.
