I'm not claiming the scene to be invulnerable to punishment. I'm just saying that it's unlikely to happen like that. Worst case it get's bricked, and out $250. I think it would be worth getting another when you already have $1000+ worth of games. (30+ decent games released so far x $50 = 1500+)

Yea so when yours gets bricked, you are gonna mod your new one so that you can play your library of burnt games, and have another chance of it being bricked? I do not see the logic.

No need for logic right now since we are talking in a theoretical fashion. As for now that library of games is doing just fine. So if anyone is keeping score for the logic it's 1-0.
