i thought the wii was gonna have a mp3 player built in but the only way i found to play mp3's is in the photo viewer when i play a slide show, im so used to playing my own songs on the 360 that i consider that a "basic" function. It would be great to play my own mp3's while playing some wii sports with my friends, just to give it that extra edge and make it even more upbeat. oh well, hopefully they can implement this later on...as in soon lol
