My parent's just bought me Metroid, what's the first weapon I should get?

I already got the grappling hook cause I knew that was one of the best/coolest attachments but I need a good weapon. I'm thinkin like something with ice or lava in it but I dont know if i've ben to those worlds yet. :ciappa:

it's not up to you to pick what upgrades you get...they kinda come in order.

u need 2 find out urself. u dint get anything else until u beatthe next boss. and im guessing ur stuck in the game thinkin that u need the fire missiles 2 go into the morph ball place well no. just go and figure it out urself its a lot funner that way.

Haha I just started the game too...after the grapple hook I got Ice Missles so thats what you should be getting
