my wii light is disfunctioning??

when i have wiiconnect24 turned on and my wii turned off a light comes on yet it keeps doing this weird thing it will be real bright one second and real sim the next .......is this normal or should i take it to a store and let them check it out????

It does that. It dims and brightens periodically.

you can change the setting in the menu and also it usually does that if you have a message as well

There's nothing wrong with your wii.
If you just have bluewiidiscslotlightphobia:lol: then you can just turn it off in the settings menu

The bluelight that dims, means you got a message.

The blue light that dims, means you got a message.

This guy got it right. Messages can contain info on updates, or they can just be messages from anyone that can send messages to your Wii. The light being on is not _only_ a sign of an update.
