Activision today announced three new exclusive downloadable themed packs for DJ Hero 2. Although the tracks come in three specifically themed packs (Hard Edge, Old Skool and Linkin Park), all of the tracks in each pack will be made available as individually downloadable singles for the Wii version of the game, priced at 300 Wii Points per track.

The Hard Edge pack is the first of the three to be released, with the tracks available to download from today, and comprises two mega mixes: The Pixies’ “Debaser” mixed with The Prodigy’s “Invaders Must Die”, and The Beastie Boys’ “Body Movin’” mixed with Lenny Kravitz’ “Rock And Roll Is Dead”.

The second pack to be released will be the Old Skool Mix Pack, which will be available for download from December 14. This pack features three mixes: The Fat Boys’ “Human Beat Box” mixed with Mantronix’ “King of the Beats”; Tag Team’s “Whoomp (There It Is)” mixed with 45 King’s “The 900 Number”; and The Beastie Boys’ “Triple Trouble” mixed with Tone-Loc’s “Funky Cold Medina”.

The final pack, the Linkin Park Mix Pack, will be released for download on December 21, and features, as you might expect, three mixes comprised entirely of Linkin Park songs: “The Catalyst (Does It Offend You, Yeah? remix)”, remixed by FSG; “When They Come For Me” Diplo remix; and “Pts.of.Athrty” remixed by FSG.
