anybody else having these kinds of issues:

everytime i connect to play a little multiplayer, i play for about 30 seconds and then get a "network failure" and get booted off. i'm not just talking once or twice, i literally have to join at least 10 different groups before i can stay and play. my internet works fine, able to connect to websites no problem, and i can connect with wiishop, and play mario strikers online no problem. it's got to be this stupid ea nation. if this is what online FPS are going to be like, i might as well ditch the wii and go get a 360. i feel like a traitor for saying it, i love SMG, metroid etc. but the motion controller is getting kind of old and we just bought a sony bravia TV and feel like we're not really using it to its full potential at 480p. (plus a headset would be nice)

i don't know ... what do you people think? i'm worried if i get a 360, the wii will just sit around collecting dust, and i've always been a nintendo supporter, but a bunch of my buddies rave about the 360.
 
Ok first off don't get a 360. Second of all it must be your connection or something because this isn't happening to any of us. Try to check your connection again or try to join another game or something. Third of all why are you blaming the game when it isn't the game's fault, I think it has something to do with your internet.

Personally I would get a 360 anyway. I don't mean ditch your Wii and sell it for a 360....but hey Christmas is coming and 360 does have some killer games.
 
Well I love my Wii but some times I want some graphics too , so I was thinking of buying a 360 but..
I live in LV , so when it gets problems or RROD nobody wont change it here.
I know that I can send it some where else but that sa too big fuzz for me.

Its just you. I've been playing fine.

360 is by far best for online play but MOH2 is fun 2 ;]

theres also Mario Galaxy which freakn qwxnz

Allowing TCP and UDP Traffic

Your Wii console may require unrestricted access to several sites across various ports and protocols to function correctly. However, many software firewalls restrict outbound access. If your firewall blocks outbound traffic, you need to make sure the ports listed below are open:

TCP: 28910, 29900, 29901, 29920, 80, and 443
UDP: Allow all traffic to all destinations. (For peer-to-peer connections and gameplay.)
Download Nintendo's Network Test tool onto your PC to test if outbound UDP is allowed.
(Note: The PC must share the same connection and firewall used for your Wii.)
Please note that by allowing the traffic to the destinations listed above, you are essentially removing a significant amount of firewall protection for your network. It is up to you to determine what security needs you have for your own network, and to decide the most ideal configuration for your network settings to meet your needs.

Additional Information for the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector Users

If you are using the Nintendo Wi- Fi USB Connector, and have a software firewall (or other computer security program installed on your computer), there may be additional steps you must perform to allow a successful connection.

"Trusted" Applications
If your firewall or PC security program keeps a list of trusted applications (also known as a "trusted zone"), there are 4 programs that are installed with the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector that require Internet communications. If prompted by your firewall or PC security program, add the following programs to the list of trusted applications:
NintendoWFCReg.exe (Nintendo Wi-Fi Connector USB)
Setup.exe (when installing the USB Connector)
SoftAPInstDrv.bin
mdriver.exe
"Trusted" IP Ranges
There are also potential ranges of IP addresses that may need to be added to the "trusted" zone for your software firewall or PC security program. Each of these would need to be opened up for TCP and UDP traffic, or for some firewalls or security programs, added as a "trusted" zone. Please consult the manual for your firewall or security program for more specific information. Add the ranges listed below to your "trusted" zone:
192.168.1.1 (subnet mask 255.255.255.0)

omg yeah dont buy 360 cause my dad is miyamoto and if you buy a 360 youre supporting his competition! right?
 
Sometimes your router experiences hiccups. It probably is your router, and I assume you would be a source of lag on MSC. Don't blame EA Nations, because if it was their fault, there would be less than 70 people online. Change your router, disable your firewalls.

thanks a bunch for your help buddy!! i'll definately give these a try. but i still find it weird that i can go online with the wii for MSC (major majority of the time with 0 lag), mario and sonic at the olympics, and all of the channels, and have never had any connection issues until i bought MOHH2 ... something still makes me think it must have SOMETHING to do with ea nation.

i don't know :wtf:
 
i hear ya. I get more booted using EA servers than other games such as socom.
