Why are you using firefox instead of Opera?

Eh, just a personal preference I suppose. And Thunderbird works realy well.

I was wondering because I was browsing through Wii Shop and I saw some software preview for what seemed like firefox I believe, but it made it sound like we had to pay, atleast for the initial download of the browser...

^^Yes, that would be the opera browser. It is exactly as you thought, a one-time payment for the browser itself, then free to use after that.

Sure cheaper is better, but I don't mind paying more if it means that WiiOpera makes enough money to encourage Nintendo/Opera to continue to support and enhance it.
