Wow,

I never thought I would see the day this would happen. Playstation Magazine wrote up a huge feature in one of their issues focused purely on the PSP and its Mod Scene, they actually support it.

Here are some scans of the article.

It covers the instant messenger on the PSP that runs Aim, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ..ect

psm also goes over the app that lets you use a keyboard with the psp, also it addresses the GPS app and the PSP RADIO that plays any shoutcast and online radio station wirelessly.

Not done yet, they go over some of the best FREE homebrew games on the PSP. Counter-strike... yes you heard me right, counter-strike on the psp. They even have the best final fantasy CCG with multiplayer options so you can play it with your friends, a space simulation game like WingCommander, Quake and even SCUM VM for all those classic games like, Sam and Max.

NO GRAVITY PSP

Because of homebrew, the PSP scene is Exploding! PSP sales are going up and up and up, there is no sign of the mod scene slowing down either, and will this carry over to the PS3? oh most certainly.

Guys, it's official! The PSM guys dig homebrew too! vettefan from our forums, and more importantly, the maker of Pimp My Garage has just informed us about an article in the latest edition of PSM - PlayStation Magazine. Here's a scan of that page.

It talks about the GTA Cheat Device by Edison Carter, plus more goodies like PMG by vettefan and AdePSP, and CheatSync by AdePSP. There's a lot of info for people who've never touched homebrew. Plus, they even try to discourage their readers from updating to the new 2.7 firmware!

So, are the homebrew developers making an impact? Heck Yes! Something like that in PSM can only get more people interested in homebrew. Thanks for the scan, vettefan, and thanks for the tip psphax0r9

Well, i should have said, is it ad-hoc or online? A lot of PSP games are ad-hoc only, which really sucks cause i like the DS for its online properties. But i did talk to Square-Enixs' PR and he said the reason for that is they dont have any, servers i think, that can support it yet.

Is PSM published by Sony? If not, I see no problem with them supporting the homebrew reality.

If they are published by Sony, then I am shocked as well.
