I know there are many solutions relating to SD cards with getting homemade videos on Wii, but can't you just upload your videos to the internet?
Yea, they won't be the best quality, but it's not like you'll get super awesome quality off the SD card anyway. You can just upload your videos to sites like youtube.com, video.google.com, and dailymotion.com, and view them for free. No SD cards.
Just saying.

But you cant edit them in the photo channel

yea, editing them is fun. And some videos might be private and people might not want people on the net viewing them

You can make videos private on youtube, rather than public.

There's this thing I found out about yesterday, orb.com

You set up an account, then just download and run a server of some sort on your PC and you can stream video files straight from your PC on your wii or any other PC

Haven't had time to set it up for myself yet, but it should work
