I have had my Wii for 4-5 months and have been noticing that the controllers were getting harder and harder to use. Especially the cursor when starting the Wii programs. Well last night I noticed what looks like mice have chewed the cable on the sensor bar. There is 10-15 big bit marks and chew holes in the cable. My question is "can I cut out the damaged part" reconnect the two ends and it function. I know this a delicate piece however I live in Mexico and it will be a couple of months before I return to the US> Thanks

just buy a new 5$ sensor bar at walmart or what ever you have there
but yes you could becuse the sensor bar has nothing to do with the wii the cord is just a power output the wiimote records where the sensor bar is
