I've never had any issues with my Wii until now. I could sit on my couch and play the wii without any trouble. but now i don't have the range to. i have to get up or raise my arm or something to close the gap its really annoying. and then the other day i brought it to a friends house and we all had to sit within 4 feet of the bar for it to work properly. any ideas?

also, is there a secret to syncing those damned wiimotes to the console? i have issues every time. its annoying.

thanks in advance

Make sure your batteries have a good amount of juice in them. Also, you can try changing your Wiimote sensitivity by going to the settings on the main menu.

One more thing, make sure the sensor bar is placed in the correct spot.

i've tried that before. no such luck. its weird.

make sure when you place the sensor bar you place it far forward.

When on top of the TV move it as forward as possible so that the IR bulbs hangover the front edge of the TV so the remote sees it when it's lower than the TV.
