some burnt games play in black and White

Hello there,
i have a wii, with the homebrew on it at version 3.2u and i use imgburn to burn the wii games at 2x speed, and some of the games play in black and white and other games play in full color. people say thats is the tv but my tv is lonely 2 yrs old,
I'm just wondering why some games play in black and white and others play fine or is there a program that could fix that?
