Tactical Fighting?

I got this game a couple days ago and I have to say I'm extremely disappointed. I expected the game to have the old paper Mario format. All I've ever played from this series is paper Mario for the n64, and i can say it is one of my favorite games ever. I got this game and say, this is no different than any other repetitive Mario game. You jump on blocks, and jump on mushrooms heads. Is there ever any of the tactical fighting?

Sorry, nope, you got the wrong game my friend. It's all action based like this. I preferred the n64 turn based tactics as well.
