The Power On wii??

Hey when i first got wii around 3 days ago i would turn off my wii and the power button would be red when i turn it off, but now when i turn it off the power butten is a light orange is there a problem and why is it orange?

To turn it off properly you need to hold on to the power button, press you just press it, it will go orange because it is then on stanby and able to receive mail from other people. It indicates it has mail by glowing.

you can turn the standby off fully, by going to settings>wii connect24>standby connection.

THe orage light means you are in "standby" mode, which is basically off except that WiiConnect24 is still active.
