tips on wagon escort plz.

All you have to do is go ahead of the wagon a little bit when it's on the road. It's not gonna hurt it to have a couple fire marks on it for a second or two. Killing that bird is the number one priority. You can put out the fires with two or three boomerang swipes anytime you want, but you HAVE to make sure you get that bird before it drops the bomb on the road and makes you go around again.

Also, I loved this part of the game. It actually required a touch of skill (unlike the rest of the game which I thought was dreadfully easy). I think the mounted combat was one of the coolest aspects of the game.

Of course, I despise the hero complex.

Then, I do not believe Zelda games are for you.

Well, waddya know! I went back to it after a couple of hours away, and got through beautifully first try. I simply ignored the twits on pigs, pulled out the boomerang and pwned birds till we cleared the fields. I dowsed the flames once, shortly after the usual bomb spot was past.

Oh: And about the rest of the game being easy: if that's a problem, a different game type is what you need then. THis is an adventure game - they are "slow", thoughtfull and methodical by nature. This is I believe about the best ever of the genre though. And once I went back after a rest and some calming of the nerves the escort wasn't really that bad.

See now, that doesn't make any sense. Adventure games are not necessarily slow by any means. Puzzle games, however, are slow, thoughtful, and methodical by nature. Zelda is more of a puzzle adventure, I think. I don't think a different game type is for me because I love all the past Zelda games. I would just hate to think that I'm outgrowing them in terms of difficulty.

Yes, well, I understand that Zelda is the whole Hero thing. It still botheres me. But somehow I manage.
