I already have the google trial on my Wii and have heard that the full version is available for download....so i deleted the old one and so far....
1. Can't get online AT ALL (could before)
2. No Wii system update sent like before....

No changes made to Wii settings at all

You just said it, first you must get online. When you have that you will be aske to search for updates, do so. Then go to the store -> programs and download the program for free.

If nothing helps, try resetting the Wii to his factory setting.... WHATCH OUT with that, it will remove everything for the Wii, including saved games. So better to store them on a SD card if you want to keep them....
