Why's the Members List been Disabled?

All thats need to know is in the title Weeeeell? I was on it bout a week ago.. and just went on it now.. to find out that it's been disabled :wtf:

The memberlist puts a bit of a strain on the server so its been disabled.

has it been permanantly disabled? in which case why is there still a link at the top of my page. And if it's only temporary, how long will it be? It's no major problem, im just wondering as there is a completely useless link on here...
