Wii blue light

hey everybody i just bought a nintendo wii and was wondering if that blue light around the cd area is supposed to stay lit up cuz mine doesnt light up

S...E...A....R....C....H..... no, no it isn't, it will light up if you have an unread email.....and if search is beyond you wich it obviously is there is also google.... and did i mention search...?
