Wii burned screen?

Alright, so I was playing my Wii the other day when I realized it was kinda blurry some parts of the screen, much like this one:

Can I fix this in any way? What should I do?

That isn't my screen either. But I have the same problems as that one.

Try and watch tv on it and see if it still has the same problem, also connect the wii up to a diferent screen and see what happens.

It is most likely a fault in the tv

I wanna say i've seen this before...but I don't remember.
Anyways, I'm not sure what's going on, but from reading those two posts you posted, I'd go believe them.

In the wii settings there is an on screen burn reduction option. Try that.
The Tv may also have an option check that also.

I tried that, along with reducing it from 60 to 50hz. I think it's permanent. I may have to get a new one.

I don't have a plasma tv either.

Sorry about that. It's basically links to two posts. One telling about this problem when connected to WiiConnect24 and the other that Nintendo has said it's only about 2 or 3% that suffers from this.

I did so after I started to see the burn-ins. The tv works fine when watching it, but not when doing anything Wii related. Is my only option to get a new one?
