Wii burned screen?

I did so after I started to see the burn-ins. The tv works fine when watching it, but not when doing anything Wii related. Is my only option to get a new one?

[Syntax]

If you're playing on a newer tv such as a plasma tv images can get burned into the screen if you happen to leave a game on pause for a long time. Usually this damages the TV but not the video game itself.

However I would also suggest on doing what wario said. Plug the wii into another tv and see what happens.

Its not the TV. Its definitely the Wii because I have seen it on more than one system. I'm happy Goku was able to capture this because everytime I have tried the pictures didnt come out right or I missed it.

Goku: Are you using component input? The times I have seen these artifacts including my own were using component input.
