Wiimote Light always on

Hello,

Something I just noticed today while playing VC Castlevania is that the light on my wiimote is always on even though I am playing with a game cube controller. Is this normal? As I said before, I just noticed this today. Perhaps this is one of the reason the batteries on my wiimote die so fast.

Yep because its the main controller
