Wiimote

Just got the Wii. Played on WiiSports a couple of times and suddenly the swing action of the Wiimote is no longer worker. Can't play any of the games and can't use Zelda properly.

Any one had this problem?

Is there any bright lights near by? If there are either move them or turn them off. That should help.

Apparently christmas lights screw up the connection between the sensor bar and the WiiMote

Nah I've tried that it's just not working.

It's weird I can use all the buttons and I can point with it, but I can't swing with it.

turn it upside down so the buttons are facing the ground, hold it firmly with one hand and tap it a couple times with your other hand. thats what the people at nintendo told me when my wiimote was futzing up with red steel. gl

Maybe the accelerometers broke in your wiimote, have you hit it really hard against something?

Now the + and - and home buttons aren't working in Zelda.

Hmmm..try to desynchronize it then try it again. If that doesn't work, try to find another one.
