Will UK now get more attention?

Ive seen in lots of sites saying the Sony Playstation 3's debut in the UK went really well. In other countries not so well. Does this mean the attention will be mutual? Do you think the UK will now have first dibs on all of the latest technology from Sony? It kind of makes sence, now that theres a market place for Sony PS3's.

I know a lot of people who were turned off the ps3 because of the negative press in the states. Seeing it do poorly there has left a worry for a lot of people here that we just won't get the games? We've always been second to the US in terms of gaming hardware/software. The majority of gamers in the UK could own a PS3 - but if the majority of gamers in the US own a 360 then thats where the great games will go.
