Basic mode cpu

I hate it when there is only 2 people ready to fight, so a 1-on-1 fight and then at the end of the fight, the game loads and then theres cpu.
I get annoyed because if I wanted to face cpu, I can do it offline.
Is there any way to take off cpu is basic mode?
