DS Lite Wi-fi

I have a original DS and thinking about getting a DS Lite. One thing that I don't like about the original DS is the Wi-fi range is short. Is the Wi-fi range in the DS lite any better?

as far as i know the two systems are identical besides the casing design/buttons and brighter screen (again). the wifi system should be the same.

i peeked :arf: into the ds manual and it says between 30 and 65 feet. (to be exact youre supposed to begin your connection at 30 feet, and then can move further within 65 if you want)

Yes. Two version of Wifi and at least 7 versions of the firmware

I bought Pokemon Diamond for the DS yesterday, US version and I was wondering if I could still play people online and if it will stil connect to the Wii then PBR comes out. The guy in the shop said it shouldnt affect it at all
