actually I felt the PS2 nerf controller in the store and it felt like a great idea. Had a nice tactical feel to it, was light but had a solid feel. As to soaking up sweat nerf usually have a thin plastic coating sealing the foam. I haven't actually played with a nerf controller but I think it's a great idea.
