Fragile Dreams European Release Date Announced-1.052010-02-16 11:23:00Maura S

Rising Star Games has today announced that its long-awaited fantasy adventure game, Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon, will be released throughout Europe on March 19th 2010 exclusively for the Nintendo Wii. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic vision of Japan, in a world seemingly devoid of human life, where the player controls a young boy called Seto as he searches for survivors after the apocalypse.

As the player explores the desolate landscape along with Seto, they must use their Wii Remote to fend off ghosts and other creatures, as well as using it as a torch to light the way through the gloom.

Not only does the game look amazing, with its unusual art style, it also uses sound in a novel way, with ghostly sounds emanating from the Wii Remote speaker. The Wii Remote can also be pointed at the source of a sound and used to detect key items and locations.

This is what Martin Defries, managing director, Rising Star Games, had to say about the game:

“We’re delighted to be able to announce a release date for Fragile Dreams. As soon as gamers start playing it, they will become engrossed in the storyline and focused on unravelling the mysteries of this deserted world.”
