Yeah, but aren't they actually just make 4 full feature films, cutting them down into episodes and then adding in new dialogue. If you want to know more, post again and I'll see if I can find the link.

To my knowledge, there's gonna be some direct-to-DVD films plus a new series. Anyway, it should be nice to see it back on our screens after some very dismal years of the Simpsons.

Futurama is funny subtlety compared to other shows. Like in the Simpsons (which I hate with intensity of a thousand burning objects), they expect you to laugh when they make a joke, Futurama just throws it out there and they're like, "So laugh or not, I don't give a ****. I think it's funny."

Tis why I love Futurama more than Family Guy. :]
