We need more games like this. Not the type of game, but the effort put into it.

My goodness that looks great. I wish I had a PSP right now (that and Ratchet & Clank).

But they said David Jaffe quit Sony, quit working on GoW. Without the director how will future GoW games be? I'm astounded he quit such a phenominal game franchise. Ironically GoW for the PSP may be the reason he left. He was basically told to milk his product. Still if I were him I'd ad least stay around to finish the 3rd game. I wonder if Sony told him not to end the series on the 3rd title for the PS3?

The last truely epic game that I played was Oot. God of War was such a nice game, I think it may have been the best I've played all year. I suppose I should throw RE4 in there too. My friends and I were yelling at each other through battles lol.

For a PSP game, that God of War game look fantastic. And the best part is the rich action and setting. The US release is Q1 2008 for now, so I might consider this if I decide to buy a PSP. IGN Preview:

As many who know the tales of the God of War know, Kratos, after being deceived into killing his wife and daughter, denounced his service to Ares. In order to seek absolution from his past sins, the Ghost of Sparta pledged himself as a champion to the Gods for the years to follow – these brutal crusades, in the name of Olympus, became legendary throughout the ancient world....

Experience Kratos' journey during the 10 years of servitude to the Gods of Olympus. In God of War: Chains of Olympus, Kratos will venture to lands that no mortal has ever walked upon. With the world plunged in eternal darkness and the Gods rendered powerless, Kratos will ultimately be forced to choose between his own personal redemption and saving the ancient world from certain destruction. Developed from the outset as an original story, God of War: Chains of Olympus delivers highly detailed graphics, incredible animation detail and yet another adventure in the dark and brutal world of Greek mythology.
