I think it is mono but sounds fine through my tv, it comes with 1 guitar i think you can buy them seperate though

It sounds fine running through my sound system. But it could sound BETTER in Stereo (even cooler in Surround). Its not as if the game just runs through one speaker... THAT'D suck!

I believe they have taken the wii version off the shelves and are working on getting the dolby PL II versions on them as soon as possible.

How do the official faceplates work? does the exisiting one come off, or do the new ones sit on top?

The white one comes off.

There's a switch on the back near the bottom of the guitar. Unlock that. Take off the neck, and just pull up on the faceplate.

Lol I went to EB (Australia) and asked if they had Guitar Hero for the Wii and the guy said they had stacks of them but the XBOX 360 one was sold out.
