Do you have to defeat the poe ghosts also to move to the next floor?
I completed the Cave of Ordeals a year back, and I can't remember if I got all the poe ghosts or not.
I don't want to go back and check, because the cave is like endless.
Does anybody know?

I would assume defeating the poes is not necessary to open the door to the next floor

Yes it is, if you have already completed the cave of ordeals then you have killed the Poes. I know because I was left with one poe and the door wouldn't open.

Yeah it's great for money, but after you get all the armour and max items, you don't really need money anymore.

The BEST way to get money is to deafeat all 60 poes and then get money whenever you want from that fat guy in castle town.

I'll never defeat all the poes. I don't have the patience. I'll have to stick with getting money other ways.
