Kill Zone 2 In-game Revealed!

Kill Zone 2 in-game vid appeared for the first time at E3. Sony stole the show at E3, I knew i would never regret getting a Ps3, regretting the Wii though Atm.

Easily destroys Halo and GOW in the looks department, i was waiting for the in-game, never realised it was in-game while their flying about.

I don't know, it definitely looks great, but so did Killzone 1. I haven't played it, but from what I hear it was ****.

sony has pretty much upped the quality i believe. Killzone was a new franchise, and thus i think kz1 probably taught them a few things as well as got them more funding.

After watching the scea stage video, i was impressed. It was a bit more than what i have been standing by.

The people responsible for GoW are working now Unreal 3. The key thing about this is that GoW is made on the Unreal engine and Sony announced that Epic (thats unreal) has now joined the PS3 side of the fence. The unreal engine is responsible for some of the best games on the market, and no one knows how to work it best like Epic. So from the stage show we saw Unreal 3 and Killzone 2, I have to say both look better than GoW, though GoW is good, it uses a type of filtering to give it that grainy quality. They will all use texture streaming, but that takes up space, one thing microsoft is losing out on with those dvds as compared to the blue ray. A game like Lair is using 25 gigs already, i can only imagine how this will effect games like unreal 3 and Killzone2.

Yeah, I understand what you are saying. I never thought I would regret getting the Wii, but the novelty of the machine is wearing off. I'm in my late 20's and the Wii really is a "Kiddy Konsole" for the most part. It is fun. But I don't get the immersion and excitement from it that I do with the PS3.

It may be kiddy sometimes but it is fun and new online announcements have been made with medal of honor where i think you can play 32 players online. Also EA games like madden and fifa and all those games are now online as well. Metroid prime 3 is looking good. Dont forget Super Smash Bros Brawl. I am a huge Sony Fan But just as big Nintendo Fan

That makes things better. Is there any news on headsets? Part of the reason that makes on-line great is the headset. Without one you might as well be playing against "the computer" so to speak. Also, you can only play with people you added as friends first right? That's kind of a pain.

Ive told people this since day 1. My wii is chipped and im still bored with it. The games are all the same and just have that kiddy feel to it.
