20p FOR A KIT KAT
Bloody hell thats cheap

Have you ever ordered your snack of choice from a vending machine, only to see it teeter invitingly on the end of one of those stupid curly springs without dropping? Of course you have, and you'd think someone would have come up with a more effective system by now.
We're betting 'sticking a human inside' isn't the first answer that popped into your head but this is exactly what Nestle has done with its new Human Vending Machines, which thanks to Kit Kat have been brought to the UK from yep, you guessed it, Japan.

The poor guy on the inside, who looks strangely happy and full of energy (perhaps from eating chocolate all day) will hand you your snack personally and apparently brings the added bonus of 'having someone to chat to'.
Don't expect these things to pop up on every street corner though; they are part of the 'Working Like a Machine' campaign that's being run by Kit Kat to show how people need a break from the monotony of day to day life.
Want some random Kit-Kat facts? Well, it's the UK's number one biscuit brand, was created in 1935 under the name 'Rowntree's Chocolate Crisp' and 37 Kit Kat bars are eaten every second, though by who we're not sure.
The campaign kicked off yesterday at the London Victoria National Rail station, so look out for it if you're passing by. - Paul Lester
