The online play for nintendo is usualy bad.You have to know the person to play with them I mean come on!I mean what are they gonna do hack into your game? Man I hope they dont use friend codes in brawl or mario kart wii!

Well I think I remember seeing a post somewhere about Mario Strikers Charged Online and that you could either play using friend codes, or just find a random match.
