ya Sakura has a way bigger role but still she's weak. Naruto by the way is waaaayyyyyy much stronger with the kyobi(nine tail fox) then before. and you find out more about the Akatsuki and there atempts to capture all the beiju(demons).

Sakura isn't weak, trust me. She's been training under Tsunade, and becomes way more powerful than before. Just watch the battle against Kakashi in Shippuuden. Oh, and it's Kyuubi, attempts, and Bijuu.
