There will be movies, but the only thing that is done is the Script, so dont get your hopes up. It may not happen at all, and if it does I slate it after 2010.....BTW the script is the original Eva story,

yeah I just googled it up and Ive been reading up that the first story would come to japanese theatres summer of 07...
