1. I suppose you could call me that. I'm training right now, but I'm becoming less and less certain that I want to do it. I had once been sure that it would be my future, but now I'm looking into olympic weightlifting, while still remaining a wrestling fan, of course

4. Eh, the magic question. I don't post pictures for personal reasons.

EDIT:

Sorry, I am training to become a professional wrestler, not an olympic wrestlers, just so we can clear that up right now.

why not? are u, don't wanna come off mean but large??

Why don't I want to become a wrestler anymore? Thats a complicated question. Up until about a month ago I had always thought that I would wrestle and supplement that with weightlifting, so that wrestling would be my number one priority and that weightlifting would always come after. However, reality has finally come into play, and I've finally realized what my chances are of becoming a wrestler. I had always been running on this 'dream' and I had always thought that if I put my mind to it I could do anything, but that is not the case.

Now I'm trying to decide what to do. I'm beginning to lean towards making bodybuilding my number one priority and making wrestling just a hobby. Then again, since I have a high metabolism I have little chance in that profession as well. Perhaps I will just have a boring day job and weightlift and watch wrestling in my free time, who knows?

I'm about 180 at the moment.

EDIT: Congrats, your the first one here to know that I'm thinking of dropping wrestling. Thats the one thing that everyone here knows me by, LIK=Wrestler

That is sad LevesqueIsKing, I used to have a friend who wrestled for Ohio Valley for awhile. I wouldn't give up on your dream, yes it's a lot of work to get to the top however if you know where to start and who to talk to it's not that difficult to get in.

Depending on your location, if you continue to want to pursue such I suggest moving your life to Louisville, make connections and work your way into Ohio Valley and/or affiliates. I wonder if there isn't a wrestling organization near you that could help fill in a resume? Something to consider... :)

I'm a n00b, but i feel that a good way to greet you is to show you how i look ;)

No, thanks i really have been thinking about it...
What would u consider a tasty snack that is healthy??
give me all your ideas lol i don't wanna be unhealthy!! plus i am gonna start cross country and pratice all winter for Track so...(goes to much into details)
lol u get the picture

I'd make sure you eat 5-6 times a day, 3 completes, and 3 snacks - one of those snacks can/should be a PWO (Pre/Post WorkOut) shake. The shake should be something like protein (whey) powder, yogurt, maybe a little flax, plus any fruit you want to pile in, bananas, etc. (lots of recipes online).

Avoid anything pre-fab - most of that stuff is just toxic - look for Hydrogenated <oil> i.e., Transfat, and in sweetened foods look for HFCS (High Fructose Corn Syrup) - they're both terrible for you and the latter is not helping your goal (per my previous post).

Whole grains will really fire your body up too - along with the good ol' practice that's been being preached for years - balance of lean proteins, correct fats (unsaturated, so olive oil, almonds), fruits/veggies, whole grains.

You don't have to be a freak and not eat some chips, or enjoy a burger either - lean ground meat is great, and snacks like nuts, sunchips, dark chocolate, fruits, etc., are all great.

I'd lower your cardio and get into more weight training (or weight training regardless). A really well rounded program with lots of change ups - keeps your muscles guessing, develops the slow and fast/twitch tissues so you can be fast and strong (not necessarily bulky either). I won't get into a long dissertation about training as there's tons of material online.
