That is sad LevesqueIsKing, I used to have a friend who wrestled for Ohio Valley for awhile. I wouldn't give up on your dream, yes it's a lot of work to get to the top however if you know where to start and who to talk to it's not that difficult to get in.

Depending on your location, if you continue to want to pursue such I suggest moving your life to Louisville, make connections and work your way into Ohio Valley and/or affiliates. I wonder if there isn't a wrestling organization near you that could help fill in a resume? Something to consider... :)
Twas my plan because I live in Ohio

I'm not a fan of rollercoasters. I've been there once when I was a small child, but even if I hadn't been I wouldn't have ridden any serious coasters.

You don't know how much I'd kill to live there and go to Cedar Point.

I hear ya Sister. Well the Cedar Point part, not so much the living there part (you'll never pry me away from my beach).

When we recently did our Vilano Beach -> Boston -> Pittsburg über tour, the original *plan* was to rent-a-car from the 'Burg to Sandusky, hit up CP and get BACK to PA before anyone noticed. (we got to PA, ran out steam, hehehe, though we did do teh Warhol museum, not quite CP...)

We've done everything to date except for the new Maverick which looks SO sick. I guess we'll hit it up next year - maybe just fly in right near CP (there's a small airport within a few).

ah ha.... Well Ohio is not Rhode Island, and generally "Ohio Valley" focuses around the "Ohio Valley". Without knowledge of your precise location Ohio Valley wrestling matches are generally below the Columbus longitude line, making places like Toledo a bit too far to be practical.

Still, don't give up. You only live once man and if that is what you want to do with your life, I say strive for it until the bitter end. I still recommend the Louisville location as you are placed in proximity to the Ohio Valley HQ thus granting you better chances of gaining the necessary to get you "in". Even living in the Cincinnati area is a bit out of the loop so to speak.
