See those are your tastes, but not everyone elses. I dont know about everyone else, but I dont enjoy playing the role of a small boy, nor do I enjoy seeing some of my favorite FF characters in the same world with Bambie and Goofy. (I am speaking from experience by the way, i have played them or tried to rather)

I wasn't talking about tastes with my previous post, I was saying that it was so overly discriptive that it read as a personal critique rather than as a decent evaluation of the game.

Its like your favorite porn star, you might want to see her in as much vidoes as possible, untill you finally pick the one where they mix animals into it. Then it just becomes tasteless. Thats how I feel about kingdom hearts.

Speak for yourself on the porn aspect. However, I do see what you're saying, although I disagree that Kingdom Hearts could share an analogy with beastiality. For a start, beastiality reduces the market (fewer people wanting to see it than regular porn), whilst Kingdom Hearts expands on it.

As for the game play, its not all that amazing. Its basically a hack and slash action game with some strategy involved. It cant really be compared to FF.

Didn't say amazing, I said pretty good. And I stand by it. The gameplay has few flaws, even for a button basher. It's not all there is to it, but it is one of the fun aspects. And in regards to the FF bit, which FF were you thinking of? I found that the active time battle system of FF12 wasn't all that great. Would have prefered the turn based machanics.

The strongest feature found in KH is the story, this is not un-expected though considering who made it. It can be a good story, but that doesnt change the fact that it is appealing to everyone.

I personally think it was a bad move to intermix Final Fanstasy and Disney, but thats their secreting marketing plan. They made it because it would appeal to a large fanbase by mixing the characters, it works and their tactics are a tad obvious.

A tad obvious? I should think so really. Although, taking the instantly recongisability of Disney franchises and putting them with Final Fantasy Characters is a good move for Square Enix, as it can be said to be an opening into the Final Fantasy games.

Usually it would have been bought out as an exclusive if the budget was not high, especially for a square enix game. The budget is high, disney will want a large share of money from the use of the characters, they want it to make a profit. A lot of people have to get paid out from this game, and thus more accessable market means reaching their goal. It might or might not happen.

Hence the "(although in this case it would probably be)". There is still a slim chance it will be out as an exclusive, but to be fair, I doubt the existing Sony fanbase would really appreciate it as much as Wii players.

I was talking about the real FF stuff, i didnt bother touching FF12. I prefer turnbased myself for the FF series. I believe the original KH came out before FF12, so it seems that FF12 shares more with HK than it does with the original FF games.

I did prefer turnbased... I was quite annoyed with the ATB system at the start of FF12, but it is seriously one of the best Final Fantasy games. Perfect gameplay and story to me

People like Mice, dogs and ducks, but that doesn't constitute as half of the animals out there. Also, not everyone likes animals or porn, so if you're going to put them together then it wouldn't appeal to everyone. Putting together 2 non-extremes does not always get you an extreme.

Seperately, they didn't appeal to everyone. However, if you take the worst bits from each you'll end up with a bad product. If you take the best bits of each (which is what they tried to do) then you'll make a good product.

If you just found a fiver in your wallet that you forgot you had, that's pretty good. However, it wouldn't be amazing. Although I do see your point, I think pretty good does describe the battle system. Better battle system in the second one however.

Battle system wise, yes. Storyline wise, it doesn't really fit with either, more of a post-colonial critique with Fantasy Elements (FF12 that is). I gotta admit, overall, I prefered the CTB system from Final Fantasy X. Makes the battles more tactical and you can really take time over thinking about how you're going to progress.

That isn't really the case this time though. Lots of Wii players will not go near the PS3 or 360, so it isn't a case of having anything and everything. The ages on this forum range from 13 - 30's. I don't think the 4 years old bit was really relevant.

Blu-ray sucks. Get the equal if not better HD and much cheaper. Oh and games? from where? this "home" another rip off the miis is the only thing sony can make and thats some of it too. in my opinion in order for something to be a drug you have to mix some chemicals to make it. legal or illegal. ie perscription, over the counter, or meth.
