running a Wii with a laptop

Can I run my Wii with a Laptop? and if so does it need to be any particular size etc.
As you have probably guessed I am new to this.

it's really a question of your modem/router. so long as you have an internet signal it doesn't matter how good or bad your laptop is.

if however you do have a wireless router just consult the wii manuals. nintendo's troubleshooting is all in the same book.

But, I don't actually want to go on the internet .... just use the Wii for my exercise program.
