Sonic 2 Wiimote

I want to download Sonic the Hedgehog 2 soon and I noticed it can be played with the wii remote. I was wondering if the wiimote gameplay is good, or is it better to just get a classic or GameCube controller?

the wiimote is fine! just directions and jump as far as I am aware!!

its better than the classic IMHO. i have a classic and i still prefer to use the remote. and the 2 player is a blast. lots of good memories with that game.

i loved sonic 2 as well. i cant decide whether to dl that or street fighter. 2 great games... not enough points.
