For example If at the end of a game Sonic is about to be killed by a powerful enemy& she steps in for sonic(in her super form). then she somehow does choas control and dies taking the enemy with her.

So yes, you were wrong. If you saw him in one cutscene of Sonic Unleashed, then he'd be a guest character in that game. If you don't see him in any games anymore, then Sega just quit using him and pretended he never existed, like I said.

I meant that mighty might have just been a guest shortly in a Sonic game but I don't know much about him so I'm not that sure.

This is off topic but I think Mighty looks too much like knuckles.

And he was a playable character in like, 4 Sonic games, and yes he had a part in their storyline aswell.
