SURELY there's some way of solving this.

What about not being able to make a new thread until you've done a certain amount of posts. I know it would be weird because of the whole introduce yourself post but I dunno..

There must be something.

Anybody got ideas? Or feel the say way?

I think we should just let i0n delete the threads or he should assign people the role of "spam officer" so whenever they see a spammy thread they can delete it. kinda like a mod

sounds like Game FAQ's Karma system which has totally fallen to crap. 99 out of 100 posts there are flames or just retarded one word random spam. makes me sad

99% of them get deleted within minutes best thing everyone can do is just report the post and ignore them.

I add the URL's to the censor list so they're wasting their time anyway.

I know it's annoying but sadly this is a problem across any website/forum/blog which allow user submissions.

Yeah I've also done that on my clan site..... Mostly the only spam I see now is GL..... Which isn't that bad. I fixed this problem on my site by allowing them to put it in their sig. They don't make threads about it anymore.

yea i know its not a scam because i use sites like that (made about $150 so far in free site like that. got the money too!) but it is spam and it is getting annoying because its becoming VERY popular
