Trying to perfect waluigi

Alright heres what I got for some reason i keep trying to get a team but every team that I play just owns my fast with fast passing and shots.

Birdo
.............Toad
But I'm thinking that, that setup doesn't work real well with waluigi because there is no really no good shot takes and toads both have pretty shitty shots.

I was also thinking

But with this setup I also encountered great difficulty
I'm pretty stumped with having two player makers and a power shooter maybe its the way I'm implementing the strategies with the team, any suggestions on who I should move in/out or a better use of the team?
