I think that a Galaxy stage would be ingenious. I hate the game, but the level would be great.

Sorry if any of these have actually been in a previous SSB game, I've only played a rental of the N64 game. So haven't really been following the series until recently.

But I would like to play in:

The final battle area against bowser from SMB3.
SMG's Freeze-Flame galaxy
Any of the overworld's from super mario world
metroid hive
one of the levels from sonic 1 or 2
air ship from SMB3 with all the guns going off hitting you and interfering
