A budget chess title. Hmm well i think that is a good thing. Chess is a great game, it does require you to use your brain though so maybe thats why its getting such a hostile reception. Other than that i cannot imagine why people would put it down without knowing how good the opponent AI is.
It obviously wont have the same kind of draw that say a Mario themed chess game would have (something like Battle Chess if you are old enough to remember that game on Amiga) but it may be a great title for Wii owning chess lovers who dont own a PC and want to play friends who live far away.
I have a Star Wars chess set too but i find it hard to get anyone to play me because i always win.
